One of the basic strokes of Chinese characters is 點 (dim in Cantonese / diǎn in Mandarin), or "dot." Despite its name, this stroke is more than just a simple dot. What defines the 點 stroke as a dot is not its size but rather its slightly elongated shape and slanted angle, which remain consistent regardless of its length.

Download the writing sheet to practice the "dot" stroke, along with several characters where it appears in various forms, including 小 (small), 火 (fire), 雨 (rain), and 米 (rice).

You'll need: a colour printer + 2 sheets of A4 or letter size paper. Laminate the writing sheets out for multiple use.

To download: Click "Add to Cart" and follow the check out instructions. No payment necessary. You'll be provided with a link to download the file shortly after.
