橫 (waang4 in Jyutping / héng in Pinyin) is one of the basic strokes in Chinese characters. It is commonly referred to as the "horizontal" stroke and it's always written straight from left to right, as its name suggests.
Download the writing sheet to practice 橫, the horizontal line stroke, along with several characters where it appears in various forms, including 日 "sun" or "day" (jat6/rì)、目 "eye" (muk6/mù)、上 "up" (soeng5/shàng)、and 下 "down" (haa6/xià).
